Rick Ross Says Joint Album With Drake Is A "Huge Possibility"

Rick Ross gives fans hope that he and Drake will team up for an album, adding that there is a "huge possibility" for their album together.
Much has been said about a collaborative project betweenDrake and Rick Ross. Early reports indicated that the project might be called Y.O.L.O. and while that may no longer be the case, both emcees have said that there is still a possibility of a joint album.
Most recently, Rick Ross shared this with MTV's Rap Fix
"It’s still a huge possibility," he noted. "Me and the homie [Drake] stay in contact and we record often. It’s just us making that decision and then moving forward with it. I was just focusing on Self Made 2 and finishing my album, God Forgives, I Don’t
He then added that more will come from the two.
"You could expect me and the homie to put some type of work in."

Nicki Minaj Says She Has "No Animosity" Towards Hot 97

Nicki Minaj explains why she doesn't have any beef with the New York City, New York radio station.
After Peter Rosenberg called her single "Starships" "bullshit," Nicki Minaj abruptly cancelled her performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam 2012. The Young Money rapstress explained that she wanted to make a point that you cannot disrespect her by slamming her music after asking her to perform, and has only spoken on it briefly before.
During an interview with Tim Westwood, the Harajuku Barbie said that she has no ill will towards Hot 97 and that "it's all love." "That’s the only people I felt bad for, my Barbz, my babies. And even if they don’t consider themselves Barbz, but they paid for tickets to come and see. But I feel like it happened and there’s no animosity," she said. "I still love them over there at the station. They’ve helped me a lot as well, so it’s not like we’re walking around being angry. We just wanted to prove that one point and that was that. It’s all love."
She also pointed out that Lil Wayne previously performed "How to Love" at Summer Jam, but he wasn't criticized for delivering a pop hit at the event. She chalked it up to men treating women differently, and how even if there are different expectations, she should be respected.
"I think the guys do treat the guys different and maybe they feel Nicki Minaj is something to be played with, but when an artist is coming there to perform, you should keep it to yourself, just for one day. I want to let people know that I’m not even getting on your stage if you don’t have your mind right. That’s the point. See, if you get on the stage, you’re saying, next time you can do it again and we’ll have this exchange. No."

Snoop Dogg Fined For Marijuana Possession In Norway

Customs officers busted Snoop Dogg after they discovered pot on his person.
Snoop Dogg was fined for marijuana possession at the Kjevic Airport in Kristiansand, Norway earlier this morning.
According to TMZ, Snoop was stopped at customs where officers discovered eight grams of weed. Cops state that anything less than 15 grams of marijuana is punishable by fine. Snoop was ordered to hand over 12,000 Norwegian Krone, which equates roughly to $1,980.13 in U.S. dollars.
Snoop was reportedly "cooperative" and took care of the fine. He is scheduled to perform tonight at the Hove Festival.
The arrest marks the first time he was pinched for marijuana. In January, he was arrested in Texas after police discovered marijuana on his tour bus.

Tech N9ne Calls Eminem "The Best Rapper," Hopes For Collaboration

Tech N9ne says that he hopes to get Eminem on his next album, dropping in October.
Tech N9ne stopped by Shade 45's Sway in the Morning to discuss a slew of topics including how he discovered Krizz Kaliko and Stevie Stone, as well as how he wants to sign Flawless. During the interview, he touched on his hope to record with Eminem on his next album, due in October, and how his previously missed opportunity to record with the Detroit, Michigan rapper is influencing his approach this time around.
"The Em track, I have another idea for my next album, late October, and if he has the time, I'll send it to him, you know what I'm sizzlin', via Royce [Da 5'9]," he said. "And we can try it again, because he agreed to do 'So Lonely,'but he was busy somewhere overseas. So I'm going to try again on this album. I'm going to try to get with him a lot earlier though, because I do my stuff on the fly like boom, I be in the studio, I write it in the studio, I record it and then I send it to the artist. So maybe I need to have a little bit more time."
He also deemed Em "the best emcee," praising his abilities for his intricate wordplay and ability to infuse his cuts with emotion. Tech said that he hopes to hop on a track with the Shady rapper to see how their worlds collide.
"It was Eminem. I think he makes everyone want to come with their A-game. He's an elite emcee. We are also. That's one of the qualifications you have to have for Strange Music. I love extreme lyricists. And to me, he's the extreme lyricist when it comes to wordplay and all of that, emotion and everything. A lot of people just want to hear us on a track to hear who would win. I just want to see how I sound next to who I deem the best rapper."

50 Cent Speaks On Chief Keef, Says Diddy's Dirty Money LP Was "Garbage"

In an interview, 50 Cent compliments Chief Keef's "energy" while also saying Diddy's last album was garbage.
In a recent interview, 50 Cent spoke with Power 92 to discuss a variety of topics including his take on Chief Keef. Giving props to the young rapper, 50 acknowledged that he has heard music that has a "hard edge." He also had less than kind words for Diddy. Fif noted that Diddy became Rick Ross' "buddy" only because his last album as Dirty Money "was garbage."
"He got that kind of energy," 50 told the station regarding Chief Keef's music. "He feels street. The things that I've heard from him had a hard edge to it. It might be cool [to work with him]."
He was then asked about his beefs. On Ja Rule, he mentioned that he has no desire to mend ties.
"Nah," he said of making peace.
Later in the interview, 50 noted that he feels Diddy's relationship with Rick Ross is only due to the fact that his last album "was garbage."
"That Last Train in Paris project sent Puff to be Rick's buddy because that shit was garbage. It's the truth."
He also opened up about his former G-Unit allies who are now no longer with his crew.
"I've spent the last five years going, 'What's the matter with them?' I haven't spoken to anyone."
Fans can expect 50's next album to feature beats from Havoc, Dr. Dre and others.

Booking Agency Dismisses $630,000 Lawsuit Against DMX

DMX gets a bit of good legal news stemming from an alleged failed comeback tour.
A booking agency has dismissed its size able lawsuit against DMX.
TMZ reports that the agency, Heavy Rotation, dropped its $630,000 suit against the rapper, though it hasn't said why.
In March, Heavy Rotation filed a suit against X in New York City, claiming that it had an exclusive, yearlong deal with the Yonkers rapper to book him international tour dates.
Apparently, child support issues and a traffic violation resulted in a lien being placed on X's passport, preventing him from leaving the country.
Despite the fact that Heavy Rotation claimed it lost nearly $750,000 on the deal, it seems to have changed its stance - a fact that X's manager, Jason Fowler, says makes the rapper and his camp very happy.

Kelis Addresses Nas' "Life Is Good" Cover Art: "For Someone To Be Genuine Is Awesome"

Kelis says Nas is "one of the greatest" as she assesses his album cover.
Earlier this month, when Nas revealed the cover art to his upcoming album, Life Is Good, it featured a picture of the Queensbridge emcee sitting with his ex-wife Kelis' green wedding dress on his lap.
In a recent interview with NME, Kelis gave her opinion on her ex-husband's choice for his album's cover art.
"My feelings about it are not relevant, but at the end of the day, Nas is an artist," explained Kelis. "And for whatever it's worth, he's one of the greatest, especially for what it is that he does."
Kelis continued, adding that the choice in art showed an honest side of Nas that she appreciated, while adding a careful caveat. "For me, I feel like, especially for someone in Hip Hop, to really kind of be genuine and honest - whatever the honesty is about - I think it's awesome."
"My feelings about it aren't necessarily valid, it's just the fact that, as an artist, I can respect that he wears his feelings on his sleeve. I like that."

Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond & Five Others Charged With Conspiring To Kill 50 Cent Associate

Jimmy Henchman's litany of legal woes continued as he faces a murder rap in retaliation for an assault on his son.
On Friday (June 22), six men were charged with conspiring to murder the associate of 50 Cent.
Among the men is Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, who is charged with arranging the murder Lowell Fletcher in 2009.
In 2011, two Rosemond associates had been charged with the murder.
Rosemond, who has long been accused of involvement with the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., was convicted of running a multimillion-dollar cocaine ring earlier this month.
Fletcher's murder was allegedly in retaliation for an assault on Rosemond's son.
Rosemond “operated like a mini-gang, allegedly committing a revenge killing, and a host of drug and firearms offenses,” said United States attorney Preet Bharara, according to the New York Times.
The indictment provides that Fletcher was shot to death on September 27, 2009 in the Bronx, allegedly in exchange for drugs.
“This has not been a good month for Jimmy the Henchman,” said Raymond W. Kelly, the New York police commissioner, in a statement.

The Hip Hop Week In Review: Pusha T Calls Lil Wayne's "Goulish" "Trash," Chief Keef Signs To Interscope

Lil Wayne said he had no beef with Pusha T, while Pusha called "Goulish" "trash." Chief Keef inked a deal with Interscope, while S1 explained how Kanye West changed his life.
This week, Lil Wayne and Pusha T separately addressed their beef with one another. Weezy said that he had no problem with Pusha, while the G.O.O.D. Music rapper said that Wayne’s “Goulish” was “trash” and that it didn’t warrant a response. After a few months of speculation, Chief Keef finally inked a deal with Interscope Records, as well as a publishing deal with Dr. Dre, while S1 spoke exclusively with HipHopDX about how Kanye West changed his life and what we can expect to hear from him in the near future.

Lil Wayne Says He Has No Beef With Pusha T, Pusha Calls “Goulish” “Trash”

Just when this beef seemed like it was dying down, Lil Wayne and Pusha T both gave interviews this week where they discussed the ongoing feud. First, Weezy spoke about his feelings on the G.O.O.D. Music rapper, stating that he had no problems with the “Exodus 23:1” spitter. “It really wasn't no beef, you know. It was just me. I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction,” said Wayne. Meanwhile, Pusha took to the airwaves to speak on the Young Money honcho’s response record “Goulish,” branding it as “trash” and explaining why it doesn’t warrant any acknowledgement on wax. “It was horrible. It was trash. It wasn't good," he said. "Let me say this. I didn't like it for that type of record. I didn't feel like, in all honesty, I haven't said anything about it because I didn't think it was good enough to respond to."

justin Bieber too young in The Game but on The Top with dr.Dre

Having been in the industry for only five years, 18-year old Justin Bieber has indeed accomplished so much. It is quite difficult to believe that someone so young can achieve a lot at such an early age.
Justin Bieber’s Career
In 2007, 12-year old Bieber sang a version of Ne-Yo’s So Sick in a local singing competition in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. He placed second and his mom uploaded a video of the performance on YouTube for the consumption of family and friends. Bieber’s mom kept on uploading videos of his covers of different R&B songs which helped bolster his popularity on the internet.
Subsequently, Scooter Braun, a talent manager and former marketing executive of So So Def, stumbled upon Bieber’s Youtube videos and was impressed. He tracked him down and after some cajoling, he finally got his mother to allow him to fly 13-year old Bieber to Atlanta, Georgia to record demo tape. He was signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between R&B singer Usher and Braun. In October 2008, Bieber was signed to Island Records, resulting in a joint venture between Island Records and RBMG.
Here’s a look at Bieber’s ventures in the entertainment industry:
  • Albums. To date, Bieber has released three albums, My World (released in two parts), Under the Mistletoe and Believe, which all hit the charts. His first album which carried the hit song Baby debuted number one in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and reached top 10 in 15 other countries. As of May 2012, he has sold over 15 million albums.
  • Concert. On June 23, 2010, Bieber launched his My World Tour in Connecticut to promote his My World and My World 2.0 albums. He grossed $150 million on 157 tour dates in two dozen countries.
  • TV Shows. Bieber had guestings in some television shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
  • Movie. A part-biopic and part-concert film entitled Justin Bieber: Never Say Never was released on February 11, 2011. It topped the box office with estimated gross sales of $100 million worldwide.
Earnings and Net Worth
Reports show that Bieber earned $53 million for the period May 2010 to May 2011 and $55 million for the period May 2011 to May 2012, bringing him a total net worth of roughly $110 million.
Business Investments
What makes Justin Bieber even more interesting is that apart from earning a lot of money at a young age, he has also been spending his money wisely as will be shown in the following investments he has made. Bieber only invests on products he likes and believes in. Currently, he appears keen on investing on private tech start-ups. Perhaps, this is his way of giving back, considering that his career was launched with the help of social media. He began investing in 2009.
Here’s a look at Bieber’s investments on businesses as reported on the June 2012 issue of the Forbes magazine:
  • Tinychat. This is a messaging platform. In January, he joined a $1.5 million financing round for this company with A-Grade, an investment fund run by actor Ashton Kutcher, Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary and billionaire Ron Burkle.
  • Stamped. This is a social curation app that allows users to rate various things like restaurants and music. He invested in this company in May by joining Google Ventures and Bain Capital.
  • Sojo Studios. This is a gaming outfit established in 2010. Bieber joined Ellen DeGeneres as an investor in this company. His favorite product is WeTopia, a free Facebook game similar to FarmVille, where players collect virtual points which can be redeemed as donations to real charities. According to Sojo Studios, it donates to charity half of the money it earns from advertising linked to its games. WeTopia earnings are donated to the following charities: Save the Children, BuildOn and the Children’s Health Fund.
  • Spotify. This is a disruptive music service founded by Daniel Ek. The founder recruited a number of recording artists to buy in the company while it established its credibility in the industry before it was launched in 2011. It is backed by everyone from Sean Parker to Li Ka-shing.
  • Viddy. This is a video-sharing app that has an interface similar to Instagram’s.
Note that Bieber’s investments are not your typical equity-for-endorsement trades. He actually invests cash into each business and very few of them have promoted their products’ links to Bieber. Braun reveals that Bieber’s portfolio is between 2% to 5% of his net worth. Forbes estimates Bieber’s venture investments at $3 million.
In addition to these investments, the Bieber fragrance Somebody debuted in June 2011 with $60 million in retail sales in its first six months on the market.

Properties

Apart from his business ventures, Bieber also reportedly owns the following properties:
  • Ducati Superbike 848 EVO. This $20,000.00-worth superbike was allegedly delivered to Bieber in April 2012. He reportedly picked out the arctic white silk model with a top speed of 159 miles per hour. It uses a wet clutch wherein the clutch mechanism is submerged in oil or some other lubricating fluid.
  • Fisher Karma. This is a $110,000.00-worth all-chrome and environmentally-friendly hybrid car. This was reportedly a gift from Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, for the singer’s 18th birthday. The car is impressive with its combination of the best elements of luxury and sports car with a high-tech hybrid engine that runs in all-gasoline and all-electric modes.
  • Calabasas, California Mansion. Bieber reportedly purchased this sprawling 9,000 feet luxury home for $6 million. It boasts of a large pool, a huge guest house and an ample garage. Bieber is expected to spend on making this property state-of-the-art by installing the latest high-tech gadgets. He plans to install a computerized system that will allow him to control everything from the bathtub to the blinds with his fingertips. There are also plans of installing a home cinema theater and a games room with the latest consoles and old arcade machines.
  • Hollywood Hills Mansion. Bieber allegedly purchased this $10.8 million property as an 18th birthday present for himself. Reports show, however, that Ashton Kutcher was leasing the property and bought it for himself after learning that Bieber was interested in purchasing it. The 9,400 square feet three-storey home overlooks the Hollywood Reservoir. It has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, two living rooms, a floating dining room, a large kitchen with new appliances, a private movie theater, a bar, a fitness room, a massage room, multiple gardens, a swimming pool, balconies on the top two floors, built-in outdoor fire pits and an elevated spa.
With all these accomplishments and investments, we can only guess where Justin Bieber’s headed in the future.

Dr. Dre: $110 Million net WORTH currently the richest musician...!!!!!!!! Jay Z only worth 40million$

Synopsis
Gangsta rap pioneer Dr. Dre was born on February 18, 1965. A music fan from the start, Dr. Dre started working as a DJ in his teens. His first major success came with the rap group N.W.A. Dr. Dre co-founded Death Row Records in 1991. In 1992, his first solo album The Chronic became a huge hit. Dr. Dre started up Aftermath Entertainment in 1996 and signed Eminem and 50 Cent to his label.

Early Years

Born Andre Romelle Young, Dr. Dre came from a musical background. Both of his parents were singers. His mother, Verna, quit her group, the Four Aces, shortly before Dre was born. His middle name comes from one of his father Theodore's bands, the Romells.
After his parents split up, Dre lived with his mother who remarried several times. They moved around frequently, and at one point lived at the Wilmington Arms housing project in the Compton area. At Centennial High School, Dre showed a talent for drafting, but he paid little attention to his other course work. He transferred to Fremont High School and then went to the Chester Adult School. But his interests didn't lie in schoolwork—he wanted to make music. Dre received a music mixer for Christmas in 1984 and soon turned his family's home into his studio. For hours on end, he would work his magic, taking pieces of different songs and sounds to make his own sound.
Dr. Dre started hanging out L.A. nightclub Eve After Dark, where eventually got his chance to work the turntables. He joined the World Class Wreckin' Cru, which performed in nightclubs, and developed the rap persona of Dr. Dre, the Master of Mixology. His new moniker was inspired in part by basketball star Julius "Dr. J." Erving.

A Leading Rap Pioneer

Dr. Dre teamed up with fellow rappers Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Yella, MC Ren, the Arabian Prince and the D.O.C. to form N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitude) in 1985. With his new group, he was able to produce a more hard-hitting sound. N.W.A.'s lyrics were equally harsh and explicit, reflecting life on the streets.
The group's second album Straight Outta Compton (1988) sold more than 2 million copies and marked the arrival of a new genre—gangsta rap. One track, "F*** tha Police," ignited a firestorm of controversy. The song, which explored tensions between black youth and the police, was thought to incite violence. The FBI even sent a warning letter to Ruthless Records and its parent company about the song.
Breaking out on his own and on a new record label, Dr. Dre hit the top of the hip-hop charts with The Chronic on Death Row Records in 1992. The biggest single from the album was "Nuthin but a 'G' Thang," which featured Snoop Dogg, then a little-known rapper. With this latest release, Dr. Dre helped introduce a new style called G-funk, which incorporated musical samples and melodies from funk with gangster rap. Dr. Dre had always admired the work of such acts as Parliament and Funkadelic.
Dr. Dre released his second solo album, 2001, in 1999. Selling millions of copies, the recording proved to be a hit on both the hip-hop and pop charts. His fans, however, have been waiting years for his next release Detox. Some tracks from the forthcoming album has been leaked, but it has yet to make its official debut. Dr. Dre has claimed that this will be this final album.

Producer and Record Executive

Behind the scenes, Dr. Dre has been instrumental in launching the careers of numerous hip hop and rap artists. He acted as a track producer for many of the artists on Ruthless Records, a venture he started up with Eazy-E. Dr. Dre worked with Michel'le on her first album. With N.W.A., Dr. Dre helped produce much of the group's material.
With Marion "Suge" Knight, Dr. Dre co-founded the rap music empire known as Death Row Records in 1991. There he worked on the debut album of Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur's All Eyez on Me. In 1996, Dr. Dre left Death Row Records, escaping from the increasingly troublesome West Coast-East Coast rap feud. The conflict between West Coast and East Coast would eventually lead to the deaths of rappers Shakur and Biggie Smalls.
That same year, Dr. Dre established his own label, Aftermath Entertainment, in connection with Interscope Records. He signed numerous acts to Aftermath, but his two greatest successes cameEminem and 50 Cent. At first, Dr. Dre took flak for signing white rapper Eminem, but he soon proved the critics wrong. He produced several of Eminem's hit albums, including The Slim Shady LP (1999) and The Marshall Mathers LP

Trouble with the Law

Over the years, Dr. Dre hasn't just rapped about violence or reckless behavior. He has lived some of his lyrics, experiencing numerous scrapes with the law. In 1991, Dr. Dre reportedly hit TV host Denise Barnes and tried to push her down a flight of stairs. The attack was triggered by a segment she had done about Ice Cube's departure from N.W.A. Dr. Dre faced assault charges and a civil suit for his actions, but both parties decided to settle out of court.
The following year, Dr. Dre again faced assault charges for an alleged attack on producer Damon Thomas. He was arrested for battery of a police officer a few months later. Dr. Dre seemed to take his dangerous behavior to the extreme in 1994 when he led police on a high-speed chase while intoxicated. Having violated his probation for the earlier battery offense, Dr. Dre was sentenced to several months in jail and ordered to pay a fine. He served his time in 1995.

Personal Life

Dr. Dre first became a father in high school. He didn't meet his first son, Curtis, until the boy was twenty years old. Another high school relationship yielded a daughter named La Tonya. Dr. Dre had a relationship with singer Michel'le who had worked with him in the World Class Wreckin' Cru, and they had a son together named Marcel. In the late 1980s, he fathered another son, Andre R. Young, Jr., with Jenita Porter. Andre Jr. died in 2008 of a drug overdose.
In 1996, Dr. Dre married Nicole Threatt. They have two children together, a son named Truth and a daughter named Truly.
Dr. Dre is not the only performer in his family. His stepbrother, Warren G, had several hits in the 1990s. His son Curtis is an aspiring rapper who performs under the name "Hood Surgeon.

Prezzo & Goldie Visibly Absent!!...BIG Brother stars!

Prezzo and Goldie were visibly absent in Upville for a good part of the night.

The two cocooned in the bedroom while everyone else was gathered in the lounge.

After the Housemates played a series of games, the love birds eventually joined them just before midnight. It was only when the Starmates started playing a word guessing games called charades that Prezzo started taking part.

He mainly enjoyed mimicking the Starmates and getting the Upvillers guessing on who he was referring to. Meanwhile, his sweetheart, Goldie sat quietly and watched the proceedings from the kitchen counter.

NBA's Tony Parker Sues W.i.P. Nightclub For $20 Million Over Drake & Chris Brown Fight

Tony Parker sues after shards from a glass bottle lacerated his cornea.
San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker, who was injured inDrake and Chris Brown’s fight last week, has sued W.i.P. nightclub in New York City, New York for $20 million.
According to TMZ, the NBA star filed suit yesterday claiming that the security was negligent for allowing the fight between the artists to occur. He was hit with stray shards of glass from the bottles that were thrown, which lacerated his cornea.
Parker, whose NBA career could be affected by his injury, claims that the club management knew that there was "bad blood between Drake and Brown” yet continued to supply the artists and their crews with alcohol, despite the fact that some were “visibly intoxicated.”
It is possible that Drake and Brown could be added as defendants in the suit, but Parker’s lawyer explains that he’s waiting on the results from the police investigation as well as surveillance tape before making that decision.

"Intricate" Verse On "Mercy" pusha T

Pusha says he has the most most "intricate" verse on "Mercy," noting that the clubs "spaz" for 2 Chainz.
The debate about who has the best verse on "Mercy" has been one had by many. Recently, Pusha T was asked what his take was on the matter. In the interview, Pusha explained that he feels he had the "most intricate lines" on "Mercy," adding that he has seen people spaz out for 2 Chainz and his verse. The VA emcee also shared that he has been learning from Kanye WestThe-Dream and others.
"I really feel like I had the more intricate lines in 'Mercy.' It was my Rap thing. That was my style of Rap," he shared to Hot 97. "In performing it and watching it in the club or whatever, I've watched people spaz, totally spaz [to 2 Chainz's verse]. But just for what I like doing, it's all me."
The Clipse emcee also shared that he has been learning from other producers while working on his solo work.
"When it's Kanye time, Dream time or Swizz or Pharrell, you really gotta sit there, listen, study and think about what you're doing because these guys are craftsmen. Seriously. You're always learning stuff."

Justin Bieber Raps Lines From The Notorious B.I.G. & Tupac On Hot 97

Justin Bieber gives in to his Rap leanings on the radio.
Justin Bieber stopped by Hot 97's The Angie Martinez Show where he discussed missing out on prom and shorting the circuit at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York.

Jay-Z's wife Beyoncé Knowles spent $40m (€31m) buying him a luxury aeroplane.

The singer's Father's Day gift to her husband is capable of taking 15 passengers.

A source told The Daily Star: "Beyoncé thought this would be the perfect way to show Jay how much of a great dad he is.

"The Bombardier Challenger 850 has a flash interior including a cream leather living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and two bathrooms. Beyoncé bought a larger plane which can seat up to 15 people so that they could take trips with their extended family."

Beyoncé, 30, gave birth to the couple's first child, a daughter called Blue Ivy Carter, in January this year.

She recently revealed the inspiration for her and Jay-Z's baby's name came from a poem written by Rebecca Solnit.

This extravagant present is not the first time she has spent a large amount on her husband.

A few months ago she gave the 42-year-old hip-hop mogul a $470,000 (€372,000) blue sapphire ring for being supportive all throughout her pregnancy.

kim kardashian balling on kanye"s Birthday

What does the woman who has everything get the man who has everything for his birthday? If you’re Kim Kardashian, you buy your boyfriend Kanye West a rare $750,000 Lamborghini.  Ball so hard!
Sources close to the couple tell TMZ … Kim purchased the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in L.A. for her new BF, who’s celebrating his 35th birthday today. But Kanye can’t play with it yet because he’s in Ireland on the Watch the Throne tour.
So we’re told Kim wanted to give him a taste of his gift — so she took a video of the car to show him … and we’re told she’s screening the video in person tonight on the Emerald Isle.
So it’s probably safe to say the car won’t be Kanye’s only present this year.

Busy Signal Goes To Jail

Just days before the second anniversary of the security forces-led Tivoli Gardens incursion, law enforcement agents yesterday arrested another high-profile figure associated with that community, on an extradition warrant to the United States.
Popular dancehall artiste Busy Signal, whose real name is Glendale Gordon, was picked up at the Norman Manley International Airport immediately after he stepped off a flight from the United Kingdom.
"The extradition warrant was executed on him," an officer told The Gleaner last night.
According to reports, he was met on arrival by members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team, United States marshals and representatives of the British High Commission. The artiste was reportedly travelling on a passport he had under the name, Reanno Gordon, in which his British visa was cancelled. He spent last night in one of the Corporate Area's secured police lock-ups.
The Gleaner understands that the entertainer was returning from a tour in Amsterdam. His arrest came months after The Gleaner broke the story that a prominent entertainer was under the radar of the United States and was to be extradited.
According to one of the law-enforcement officers who spoke with The Gleaner yesterday, 'Busy' as he is affectionately called, has been on the run since 2002. Allegations are that he was implicated in a narcotics offence committed in Minnesota.
"He is to be extradited for failing to appear before the court to answer charges in relation to that offence," argued the law-enforcement officer, who was among the team which escorted him from the airport late yesterday evening.
Busy Signal rose to stardom after releasing a string of singles in 2003 and 2004. He climbed Jamaica's singles chart in 2005 with his aptly titled hit Step Out. He got the nickname 'Busy Signal' from his friends in west Kingston, where he formerly lived.
